  • Fun fact?

    I lived in Georgia and South Carolina before moving back to Florida for the program!

  • Why did you choose UM?

    The people! I love that the program is housed within a department and you can really get to know the students and faculty - it feels like a community. Moreover, there were faculty members, including my now-mentor, conducting research I was extremely interested in being a part of!

  • What are your career or public health interests?

    I hope to continue focusing on program development for patient resources in cancer prevention and control. My goals are to obtain a Post-Doc position and then continue to work in academia with an NCI Cancer Center.

  • What is your hometown or country/state?

    Coral Springs, Florida

  • Favorite thing about UM or Miami?

    My favorite thing about Miami is the weather and all of the different cuisines and restaurants!
